Tonight Com.It.Es had our October committee meeting in the presence of consul Dott.ssa Roberta Ronzitti.

At tonight’s meeting we discussed at the meeting was the outcomes of the Italians Down Under Conference, which was attended by some committee members, and the approval of Com.It.Es representatives to travel to Mt. Gambier to meet with various Italo-Australian associations and re-engage with the rural Italian community.

The consul in her report also summarised various important initiatives coming up over the coming months which are promising, and plan to promote Italy through a week of Italian food and wine in late November.

At the conclusion of the Com.It.Es meeting, as a part of our continual community engagement project we met with Italian welfare food provider P.I.S.A President Ken Lodge and CEO Kelley Russo to discuss their current role within the community.

The current direction PISA is going into the future sounds promising and are able to expand their business model in continuing to service not only the Italian community, but also the wider community with the amazing food they prepare for the elderly.

On behalf of Com.It.Es SA we want to thank both President Ken Lodge and CEO Kelley Russo of P.I.S.A on the great work they currently do in the community and all the best in moving forward with your new location opening up shortly, which will positively allow you to service a larger number of the community with the amazing food you produce.

Our next committee meeting is on Monday November 7th.
