Tonight was the opening of the 2016 Italian Research Down Under Conference hosted by ARIA-SA and the Embassy of Italy. Guests were treated by welcome addresses by Dr Rodrigo Praino (ARIA-SA), Prof Oscar Moze (Italian Embassy), Christian Verdicchio (Com.It.Es SA), and Dott.ssa Roberta Ronzitti (Consul of Italy), along with keynote presentations by Prof Marcello Costa and a fellow member of Com.It.Es Prof Angela Scarino.
Com.It.Es SA wishes to congratulate ARIA-SA and the Embassy of hosting such an important event showcasing the strong work being done by Italians here in Australia, along with research being carried out on Italian themes of those who are not of Italian origin. This event further highlights the strong scientific bilateral relations between Italy and Australia, and is just shows how Australia is ranked #11 in Italy’s list of collaborating countries when it comes to research being published on a yearly basis.
We look forward to seeing the presentations on show tomorrow! Buon Lavoro ARIA-SA!
