The Associazione Umbri ed Amici dell’Umbria Adelaide has been a long serving association in the Italian community for many years now. Last Friday Com.It.Es South Australia, along with Bene, CIC, St Hilarion and Anfe were invited as the benefactors to the winding up of the association after many years of service.
The President of the Association and Founder Cav Giordano Rossetto spoke of the many years of hard work and service provided by many volunteers over the years who made the club a success and hopes that the funds provide a legacy for the association as it will be used by key community bodies to assist the Italian community from welfare to new-arrivals and language and culture.
Com.It.Es South Australia wishes to thank Cav Giordano Rossetto for the many years of service to the Italian community and thanks the association to nominating Com.It.Es for such a grant. We shall be using this funds wisely in areas of need within the Italian community and we are in fact meeting shortly to finalise and initiate our projects for 2019.
Once again on behalf of Com.It.Es SA and the Italian community we wish to thank Cav Rossetto and the Associazione Umbri Adelaide for their many years of service to the Italian community here in SA. May their legacy live on.
