Tonight Com.It.Es SA hosted its meeting for September, and have elected a new President and Executive Committee for the remainder of the Com.It.Es term.
After the previous meeting in August the President Mr. Mark Quaglia announced that he would step down from the September meeting as he had previously stated at the beginning of his tenure and remain as a committee member for the remainder of the Com.It.Es term. This was a promise and view he and the committee at the time made in order to promote a positive rotation mid-way and allow other members of the group take up more senior roles.
In keeping with this promise, tonight the committee elected a new President and executive committee. We are pleased to announce that Com.It.Es South Australia’s new President is Mr Christian Verdicchio, whom has previously been our Vice-President and Secretary.
Ms Martina Matta is our new Vice-President and Secretary, Ms Gianna Vorrasi remains as Treasurer and Mr Michael Donato fulfils the final executive position.
Com.It.Es South Australia wishes to deeply thank Mark for the amazing hard work and efforts he has put into the first half of his elected term for Com.It.Es and the Italian community of South Australia. We look forward to having him remain as an integral member of the committee for the remainder of the term.
We wish to congratulate the new President and executive members on their appointment, and we look forward to continue to serve the Italian community of South Australia.
