Following the Com.It.Es South Australia meeting of June 2020, the committee supported the decision to send a letter to the Premier of South Australia advocating the immediate support to temporary visa holders living in South Australia and currently experiencing financial hardship due to the inability to claim federal government welfare.

Temporary visa holders play an important part in our economy and society, and if we were to lose them then many businesses would struggle to return to pre-COVID services due to lack of staff.
