Wednesday 4th of October 19:00pm at the Italian Centre 262 Carrington St, Adelaide, Com.It.Es South Australia is proudly hosting a new-arrivals seminar to provide important information to current Italians abroad living in South Australia. The theme for the night is aimed at both consular services where the Consul will provide an update of services available, and the second part is focussed on the current changes to the visa requirements which will be presented by the SA President of the Migration Institute of Australia Mr Brian Jones along with other migration experts also forming a panel during a Q&A arrangement.
President of Com.It.Es SA Mr Christian Verdicchio says that “The event is an important one for Com.It.Es South Australia as given the current changes by the Federal government regarding visas there is much confusion and anxiety at the moment for the broad ethnic migrant groups living in Australia, and therefore we as a committee have identified the need to host an information session that will provide the basic information required for those to then make an informed decision on how to move forward and how to even gain assistance professionally given everyone’s unique situation. We have the Consul of Italy Dott.ssa Roberta Ronzitti firstly presenting on consular services available, and then the second part of the session is solely focussed on the current changes to the laws regarding visas where we have the South Australian President of the Migration Institute of Australia Mr Brian Jones presenting those changes, and then a panel of migration experts to actually answer any questions in an open forum for those attending. This is a simple layout but in our view effective as it will allow the audience the opportunity to ask the professionals any questions in an open and relaxed environment, where the experts are there listening to the audience and not the other way around!”.
Com.It.Es South Australia is actively promoting this event on our website and facebook page, and ask for the Italians in Adelaide to promote this event to as many people as possible as it is an important opportunity to receive information that is affecting so many at the moment.
