To celebrate the #SettimanadellaCucinaItaliananelMondo,
the Consolato d'Italia Adelaide promotes #italiancuisine and #slowfood while minimising #foodwaste.
This was an excellent info-session run by chefs (and ComItEs member) Rosa Matto and Kane Pollard (Topiary-dining), with Steven Lapidge, CEO of End Food Waste Australia , and Tania Paola, Presidente of Slow Food South Australia among others.
Food waste costs Australians $36.6 billion per year or up to $2,500 per year per household. A lot can be done here.
